Note from Witness Bee: This article displays just one instance of the absolutely brutal and unjust conditions that many Hondureños suffer that ultimately forces them to flee their country to seek asylum here in the United States. For those who do not speak Spanish, eight people were injured as a result of military police firing into a crowd protesting at a university in Tegucigalpa. There will be no justice for these eight people or for the countless others who suffer at the hands of corrupt government/military in many Central American countries, and it’s an absolute shame that people fleeing this type of violence are experiencing violence and oppression upon arriving to the United States.
