PRESS RELEASE: We said we’d #ShutDownICE yesterday. According to a leaked memo written by the Acting Director of ICE, that’s exactly what we did!

We disrupted things so thoroughly, they locked down the entire building and weren’t able to reopen until we left at the end of the workday. And going forward they’re putting in a new security screening process, which will make it take longer for ICE employees to get into work every day. Direct action works!

It can’t end here. We call on the entire American public to join us: We will shut down every field office, block every truck, and stop every raid until we have an immigration system rooted in the dignity of millions of undocumented immigrants across the country and at our border.
