Senator Warren has agreed to come to Homestead!!! Here she is listening intently as I’m speaking about Homestead, yesterday.

Travelled to Waterloo, IA to attend an intimate house party w/a team from the Center for Popular Democracy. Did my best to be one of the 3 questioners they called on, but had to wait to meet her after the event.

Thanked her for investigating John Kelly, spoke about the multiple new youth prisons going up on more military bases, and said we’d love her to come down to Homestead after the debates in Miami! Incredibly, she said, “Yes! Yes! Yes,” in rapid succession. I asked her a second time to be sure and she said “Yes,” again. I was remiss in getting this on tape, as her staffers had my phone…

So now, we all need to call her office ( (202) 224-3121) and thank her for coming!! Speak as if it’s a done deal. I envision this as evolving into a large press event for the candidates who do visit.Win-Win!
